I know what you're saying. "IT'S BEEN MONTHS." You're on the ground, crying, begging me to write another article. I tell you, "It's okay, don't cry so hard; I haven't gone anywhere." You reply, "IF YOU HAVEN'T GONE ANYWHERE, WHAT'S YOUR EXCUSE FOR NOT WRITING ANYTHING?"
What's my excuse? I have none.
Just kidding. I have a bunch, okay?
Over the summer, I went to a couple of cool places.
Define places? Seattle, and BC (TWICE. I DROVE BOTH TIMES).
What did I do there, you ask? That's a secret for another article.
I've started tutoring.
And it's been so much fun, which is the nerdiest thing I've ever said. I have 7 "students" now (I feel like a fake teacher when I say "students"), and I tutor them in a variety of subjects... mostly English, but sometimes a little bit of middle school math.
I've been reading.
Watch out - a new article will be released soon called THE FIVE BEST BOOKS I READ IN 2022. I'm almost at my goal of 50 books this year, which is only sad if you compare it to my 118 books of last year.
I've been living life.
I went to Screamfest and some strange country club where I attempted line dancing and more.
PLUS... I'm in school!
I'm only taking three classes this semester, so life is pretty chill. I enjoy my three-hour evening class on Abnormal Psychology, which is sometimes a sad way to end your day... you know, listening to some guy talk about the symptoms of depression for 180 minutes straight. But I still find it fun, mainly because I'm being social and talking to other kids in my class for once (something I used to be strongly opposed to because I was an antisocial loner).
Overall, life has been pretty good. But I've decided that I'm missing something, and that is the beautiful outlet that is this blog. It's not like I don't write - I still keep my daily diary - but writing here is something different. So for November, I intend to be more... regular with my blog posts. Try to hold me to it.
